While magic has done beach rides cross country etc he's also more than happy to do a quite hack can hack alone or in company no problem on the roads. I'd say his only fault is off road he can bit a little nappy this is what would make him a second pony. In the school he has an established walk trot and canter. Giving me my first canter back after many years he was amazing for me and really looked after me he is good to catch in the field will come to you. Can be a little pushy on the ground but bring firm and consistent is all he needs once you say no he will respect that. Good to clip except legs and face will need sedation for this. She's naturally quick so would be a very fun first horse for competitive teenager/amateur. When we got him he was quite bolshy on the ground but since having a chain headcollar on him he is good now Honest part: We bought felix last year and after having him about 3 months he wasn't acting quite right ,turned out he had one ulcer which has been treated for fully and has not caused any problems. Whilst owning him his back wasn't quite right as well so we got it x-rayed and it showed mild bone reformation in the lumbar region of his back which has also now been treated with meso therapy and all cleared by our vet .We rehabbed and now he is sound under saddle . In her time she has attended showjumping, tilting, cross country, hunt rides, and done miles of hacking alone and in company across beaches, forests and open fields, as well as being dressed up and ridden bareback. Has been used to nanny youngsters. Can leave for weeks and get back on without issue. Also driven previously, although not done regularly with current ower. She has lived on a farm, seeing plenty of machinery and livestock and has a brilliant temperament to traditionally spooky things. Ridden out with dogs regularly and loves a swim in the sea. She is lovely to handle on the ground, but will occasionally need a treat to catch her out the field. Nothing nasty, she just walks away from you. Great to get her feet done, groom, tack up, load etc. Good to clip her body, but would need sedation to clip her legs. She was used as a broodmare for one year, and produced a lovely foal, being a very attentive mother. Minnie is barefoot and can live out all year round without rugs. Would need vaccines restarted. Can take a small adult or older child/teen. Could suit lead rein as she's a gentle lady. For children off the leadrein - second/third ridden, as she does enjoy a canter when out hacking and can jog a bit when excited (ridden in a snaffle at all times and not strong for a small adult rider). Last year, she was diagnosed with mild arthritis in the front feet and received steroid injections. She took some time off work, came back into her ridden work very happy and fully sound, but has been mostly retired from jumping now. Since this, it's been over a year, and she hasn't needed any further injections, and can still enjoy long hacks and a good gallop. For this reason, she is suited as a safe happy hacker with occasional low level jumps. Having had a successful racing career keith is ready to move on. For sale through no fault of his own. Current owner has been playing with the idea of selling keith over the last year having owned him for the last 3, due to own commitments and lack of time. Having mainly hacked and local low level compitions. Keith is currently just coming back in to work after time off (lack of time). Schooling- keith is green in the school and just starting correct schooling and progressing well. He shows a good attitude and tries his hardest everytime. Hacking - willing to go front or back, he hacks well with others but will need a confident rider to hack alone as does protest but if you can ride him through he will go alone. Good with all traffic. Happily canter in open feilds and easy to pull up but can jog afterwards but easily controlled. Showjumping - keith loves to jump! And makes a nice shape although can get excitable at times. Never nasty or naughty. Xc - Also one of keith favourite things to do. Although hasn't done much he has proven himself to be bold and honest. Keith is proven to be a honest ride. Has never bucked or reared. Altgough can get excitable he is very easy to pull up. Keith is easy to handle. Currently used within a therapy centre with adults and kids and thrives on the attention, will stand allday to be brushed. Keith has very good stable manners, never gets pully or impatient. Happily stand tied up with no issues. Clipping - Can be nervous when clipping. Will clip without sedation for someone who is willing to spend the time and had patience with him with quite clippers - this is how he is currently clipped or has been sedated previously. Farrier - good to shoe. Currently wears 2 fronts Travel- good to load and unload Keith will happily live in or out all year but does prefer to come in at nights. Never pushy or bargie at the gate. Waits his turn. Happily turned out with geldings or mixed heard Keith's bad habits... he does occasionally windsuck although causes no issues. Can be grumpy when fed. Keith can get protective over his hard feed although you can still go in to his stable and groom/rug up ect. He does put his ears back and scowl. Has never kicked or bitten.
