SAFE SENSIBLE ALLROUNDER & RIDING CLUB...
Fun, easy, all rounder ideal as a mother/daughter share - sane enough to put a beginner on but can also step it up a gear if needed.
Meghan is great in traffic and with all farm vehicles, she is also steady and safe whether in a group or alone. Does needs pushing on to hack solo but is perfectly capable of doing so.
Excellent stable manners and great to shoe, clip and load. Always snaffle mouthed. Being a Welsh Sec D Meg is full of character so not suitable for a complete beginner/novice, but has no vices and an honest, lovely temperament.
Has competed locally in intro/prelim dressage and always gets placed at riding club level. Was reserve champion at Rugby Riding Club in 2017 and competed in Blue Chip dressage series at Solihull Riding Club, qualifying for their winter champs.
She has done numerous fun rides and is never phased if other horses are playing up. Loves jumping, and has done a mini one day event and a couple of UK Chasers courses, jumps clear in local SJ classes.
Her downsides... Meg has mild seasonal sweet-itch which is easily manageable with a fly rug and lotions.
She has very low grade arthritic changes in both front coffin joints which have been treated and received the all clear from the vet to continue her normal workload of hacking and jumping. The vet is confident that the changes are mild and she would be sold with full medical records.
My only reason for selling is that I simply don’t have time with two young children to do her justice. She enjoys her work and would be a brilliant horse for someone else to go and have fun on. Will only be sold to the right home, with first refusal if ever she was to be sold on again.
£1600 ONO, to include some of her wardrobe.
