Gypsy is a genuinely special mare with so much to offer. She is kind, affectionate, and has the sweetest nature on the ground – truly one of a kind and adored by everyone who meets her.
Her standout quality is her hacking – she is an amazing, confidence-giving hack and very much bombproof. She will happily go alone or in company and takes everything in her stride, making her a pleasure to ride out.
She is:
• Excellent to load, groom, and tack up
• Good with the farrier and currently barefoot
• Stands perfectly for the dentist and physio
• Easy to handle and a pleasure to have on the yard
She can be slightly cautious having her back legs picked up at first, but with a calm, confident handler she stands well and this does not cause any issues.
Under saddle, Gypsy shows lovely potential. She schools nicely, enjoys her pole work, and is willing and genuine. She will hack anywhere and is safe and sensible. She is a responsive ride and can be a little keen in her work at times, so is best suited to a confident rider rather than a complete novice.
She would suit a confident, capable rider looking for a safe, fun horse to hack and continue bringing on. In the right hands, she has the potential to be a fantastic all-rounder.
She is happy living in or out and mixes well in a herd.
