If you're not fully happy with what's been suggested don't go with it, it'll only cause you worry and stress. If putting her into foal is something you want to do then yes go for it, but don't be pushed into having a foal by a stally that isn't neccessarily your number 1 choice.

Why is this particular stally your only choice?

Hmmm... no way you could save up for a different stallion?? If you want a foal out of her maybe try and do some jobs or something to save up money? Would show you're keen but without sounding like you're being rude?? Maybe?? x

Couldn't you swap or sell the covering? Advertise it?

You seem to have a few mares in your yard - why not bring another one of the mares to eskdale. This would get use of our your "free" covering.

Then you can bring Molly to another stallion that you might prefer or match her better. If you brought her to a nice15.2-16hh ISH or half bred Id bet you;d get a lovely produce. In the future you could then ride that offspring in light weight hunter/small hunter classes.

i would love to but each of our mares has had a least one of his foal so mom doesnt want loads of full brothers and sisters
well if she is retired next week i will have a splended foal and then next year go to a stallion like you suggest
