Those of you from the other forum will probably remember the story of the poor little refugee girl Helen Egiogwe and her would-be rescuer from a refugee camp Thomas Morningstar... he's kind of like a knight on his dashing steed, only without the knight bit

For those of you who aren't familiar with the back-story, basically this internet scammer calling himself "Helen" sent out a scam email pretending to have $ lots and offering a percentage to anyone who would help get it out of the country... after the victim had paid plenty of fees and bribes, etc. I replied to "bait" the scammer as Thomas Morningstar, who happens to be a horse. The scammer never quite worked out the horse part

Anyway the bait fizzled out shortly after I had the lad half believing that Thomas had teamed up with a bunch of mercenaries and been involved in a gun battle trying cross secretly into Senegal.

But guess what I found in Thomas' mailbox today!

Dear Friend

I'm happy today to inform you about my success in getting the
fund transferred under the co-orperation of a new partner
from paraguay.Presently i'm in Holland for investment
projects with my own share of the total sum.
Meanwhile,I didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me
in transfering those funds despite that it failed us some how.

Now contact Rev Father ( Christopher Ukeomac) of St.John's Catholic Church Dakar
his email address is ....... ( uukeomac@yahoo.com )

ask him to send you the total sum of ( $300.000.00 ) in which I kept for your compensation
for all the past efforts and attempts to assist me in this matter.
I appreciated your efforts at that time very much. So feel free
and get intouch with Rev Father ( Christopher Ukeomac ) and instruct him where to send the amount to you but due consider it as a gift ok.

Please do let me know immediately you receive it so that
we can share the same mesure of joy after all our sufferness at that time.
at the moment,I am very busy here because of the investment projects which me and mine new partner are having at hand.

Finally, remember that I had forward instruction to the ( Rev Father on your behalf to receive the money, therefore feel free to get intouch with ( Rev Father Christopher Ukeomac ) and he will send the amount to you without delay.
With best regards
Precious Helen

This is a standard "follow up" scam the lads will use if plan A has failed. Basically the "reverend father" (in reality the same scammer) will need a "fee" to send the money.

Obviously the lad has completely forgotten how our last encounter ended so I figured, why not, Tommy rides again!

Hello Helen

Well that's a coincidence. You see I am in Holland as well, I left Mrs Flitworth's riding academy and I'm now working doing advanced dressage and beginner and intermediate level haut-ecole macramé lessons at the "Kleine Draakje manege voor eigenzinnige jongens en meisjes" near Leeuwarden, which is very interesting indeed.

I'm very pleased you got your money out and I'm sorry things didn't work out with the business in Senegal, it was ever so lucky that I managed to get a ride home with Jack "Hoots" McGraw and his band of soldiers of fortune, lucky they had that Antonov transport plane handy!

Anyway as we are both in Holland maybe we could meet up for a drink and a bowl of alfalfa or something? That would be great!

All the best and happy new year.

Tommy Morningstar

Horses stay the same from the day they are born until the day they die... They are only changed by the way people treat them'. Tom Smith - trainer of Seabiscuit
