Well on that basis i have a Harry Hall (or hill if you like his style!) pair of waterproof trousers and a fab, Dublin, end of season, bargain waterproof coat. It's long, warm and has lasted me two very cold winters.

| I love wearing full suede or suede type chaps ... havent got this years though yet & didnt use them last year as wasnt riding at this point so will might have to add to the Christmas List. I have a pair of navy blue plastic (raincoat material) over trousers but i hate riding in them for the crackly reason everyone's mentioned so generally i just use them for yard work when really bad weather. I would really REALLY like a pair of those (Brand escapes me) Pink Flourescent riding over trousers with poppers down the side ... with the matching jacket

I've used mine loads, I love how they zip upwards from the bottom. I can get them on over my boots, they're extremely tough and are great in this cold weather, especially ferrying water about
