Well on that basis i have a Harry Hall (or hill if you like his style!) pair of waterproof trousers and a fab, Dublin, end of season, bargain waterproof coat. It's long, warm and has lasted me two very cold winters.

Horses stay the same from the day they are born until the day they die... They are only changed by the way people treat them'. Tom Smith - trainer of Seabiscuit

I bought a pair or Robinsons make (Requisite) waterproof overpants for £17, not had to use them yet but they look like being ideal

I love wearing full suede or suede type chaps ... havent got this years though yet & didnt use them last year as wasnt riding at this point so will might have to add to the Christmas List.

I have a pair of navy blue plastic (raincoat material) over trousers but i hate riding in them for the crackly reason everyone's mentioned so generally i just use them for yard work when really bad weather.

I would really REALLY like a pair of those (Brand escapes me) Pink Flourescent riding over trousers with poppers down the side ... with the matching jacket

I've used mine loads, I love how they zip upwards from the bottom. I can get them on over my boots, they're extremely tough and are great in this cold weather, especially ferrying water about
