Sowwy didnt get time to post update/pics before work I loved the marternity leave idea but I have only been there three days so they may not have liked it so much

Well he is here came off th eboat quite as a lamb tied up the yard whilst i checked him over etc then I stuck him out beside Bob and even with the 2 mares and 6 geldings we have to pass running around to get to his field he was very good.

Him and Bob seemed to get on there was no squealing or leg lifting when they sniffed. I have sepearted tem incase but think that can come down within a day or two. Azer rolled as soon as I had taken his head collar off so very settled already.

Bob was very unsure and clung to me as I bought Azer through (I have decided to stick with that name) through. But i went with him to say hi over the fence and within five minutes they were galloping up and down together (well bob was flat out galloping and Azer was doing a steady canter (letting bob win)

I will try and upload pics now but ever since i moved my tinternet is poo and it takes ages (though they are on my facebook too)

Poo I'll just do it this way

Well as a small update, I have had Azer seven weeks today and things are going well. I have schooled, jumped a little, hacked galore, taken him to our local indoor in the woods and on the beach.

I was hoping to take him to do a walk trot this weekend but I have been wait listed so I won't get a slot so our first show will have to wait, but I would like to wait anyway so I can really go out and be happy

He's building up my confidence really quickly his is perfect to hack, lovely to handle kind to jump and good in the school.

I have areas I need to practice but all in all I am very happy with the horse I have bought

Here's some pics

Ah bahw bless you that really made me smile it must be living on an island surrounding me with salty air preserving me so I don't look a day over 17 but your assumption was close I'm an oldie at 27

th your right I know it's very early days to say it but he is fast becoming the 'horse in a lifetime' the widened ones speak of so fondly
