Well we survived! We came last of 13 but we did get some canter and some of the appauling marks were tota rider error so I'm taking the blame. I forgot my test in three places and because i couldnt remember if it was a long or short change of rein i got two twos where I should easily have got 6's and I came back to walk to give me time to think of my next movement.

We got some canter and I had to laugh at the judges comments she obviously has a sense of humour..

'Odd shaped circle' was one and her overall comment was very nicely put 'Well done for sticking with it, he was not helpful. Try to be more accruate to pull marks up.'

But he behaved perfectly and he did try and do the canters so I am very pleased with him.

That was test 15 today with 52.6% back for test 19 in the morning

The marks and placings don't matter half as much as the improvements and the judges don't know about those. Well done JG and especially well done as you're getting some canter strides now, which I know is a big step forward for you and the Bobster

Nice one JG Like TH says it all about the improvements you and Bob have made and i really dont think that is a bad mark at all for your first prelim test. How did you get on today?

Ahh thanks all

He was a very good boy again today and again tried for his canters. It was test 19 and i had a caller so i wouldnt mess it up

We came last again of nine and we got beaten by at least 9% by our next closest score ops.

We got 52.7% today so a whole .1% improvement.. nothing like being consistent eh.

But as he behaved and sort of tried so im happy.

Todays comment was 'Gorgeous little pony, not concentrating as much as he should on the test today but he showed that he can do the movements so keep going' bless the judges are ever so sweet to me

Much to Bob's delight we have six roads dressage in two weeks doing the same tests so we can see if we can improve a little by then

I'm trying to post pics for it but since i moved my computer so slow to do anythin its not really working
