| My lovely dog has some gorgeous puppies. They were born saturday night, obviously their eyes aren't open but they're asleep and obviously dreaming as they twich away. I've always wondered what on earth can young babies & new born animals dream about. Someone said today that they've been here before, that's why they can dream about things.... I poo poo'd it, then I started wondering

Or the even more scientific answer, the twitching is the motor skills forming, that are alaready apparent in baby animals. Every twitch, creates a new neurological pathway and the synapses need for strong motor skills and coordination.
Every time you learn or do something new, it physically creates a new pathway in your brain. Which is why you literally never forget how to ride a bike.

personally I believe in reincarnation - but I have always wondered exactly what my nephew dreams off! my cat's awful at twitching in her sleep haha and Joey does it too! it's when they go into REM sleep isn't it?
people will always have diff opinions on things, and I tend to generally steer towards scientific ideas, but I do like the idea of the reincarnation thing!

I suppose they've got lots of twitching to do You learn something new on here every day

Wow, never thought of that before...I've always wondered what blind people would dream about? Do they see colours and things in their dreams? Or maybe someone who wasn't blind from birth might see colours?
