Katie got bucked off a horse today and broke her wrist. She's got plaster on it now but has to go back to the hospital tomorrow to have an operation on it  It's her first real injury and she's 21 so she's done well. The hospital staff sent her to the paediatric department, they thought she was about 12

Hope she makes a quick recovery TH and the surgery isn't too complicated. Tell her to expect to get bored after 10 days or sso. When i first broke my arm i thought it was quite cool to not have anything to do but soon got seriously bored and fed up with not being able to do anything other than sit in front of the computer, and its made worse when you normally lead quite an active lifestyle

Oh ppor Katie, hope the op goes well and she doesn't get too bored with not being able to ride etc. Was it a new horse or one of hers? I must admit when I met her last xmas i thought she was about 14 or 15

| She had a horrible evening last night. She was sick alot and couldn't keep the painkillers down Today she's going back for an op. If we're lucky she'll get away with it being manipulated but it could need wires or even a plate. She had her young horse ready for a show and took Simon on a hunt ride on saturday to prepare him for hunting this season. She also had a couple of days hunting to prepare and scent which are early season meets so she'll have to delegate someone else. I'm sure she'll soon be pottering about once she gets off the painkillers. She was upset as she can't ride or drive the car so she can't get out of my way
