I've never 'seen' anything, my dad has though - a lottt
His office is haunted by a guy who was killed there while moving a train back into a cover, very standard thing to do but went very wrong that day (it's not pretty so I won't go into it!). He's seen a solid coloured figure, hear footsteps when no ones around, papers moved, doors slam etc
My yard also has some odd things going on, it's very very old - it was built by Richard the Lionheart, has been burnt down twice amongst other things lol and I often get very strange mists over my photos - I'm verrrrrry careful about photos and lighting etc and there's never any explanation for it ...?
eerrrm my grandad turns our taps on and he used to turn a CD player on constantly but that got pretty scary at 3am lol so it's now unplugged! He's also found my sister now and enjoys blowing her OH's sheet music around whilst they're indoors with the windows shut (they have an escapee cat!) which led a very firm science man to yell out "bl**dy poltergeists!!!" lol oh and he's done a fair few other things too which were pretty sweet but I won't bore you with them haha
My animal ones are the ones ongoing at the moment and I find them particularly interesting

| Madz you mentioned photos, i have 2 photos that stand out in my memory of 'eery' things! the first one is of my ex cooking tea.........we'd just moved into a little cottage that everyone said was haunted and he was cooking the first meal (before we even unpacked) and on the wall behind him is what looks like 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth. when i got the pics developed i went and inspected the wall but there was nothing at all there. the second one is of my son, my OH was holding him up in the air so i took a pic (can't see my OH at all, just my son) and he's got one heck of an aura surrounding him in it. will try to find them out later and put them on!

ohh do! mine aren't anything cool like that, just an odd mist that covers the majority of the photo - wasn't there in the photo before or after (and you know what I'm like with pics!), the photos were taken inside and none of us saw ANY mist in person (otherwise you can be sure I'd have waited before having the photo taken!)
it's happened on another set of photos too and on a completely unrelated time, total different location, total different weather conditions, total different camera, subject and photographer - but at a well known haunted place and the same type of unexplainable mist......
first pic: (yes it is an awwwful one of me but it was winter and he was being a complete fidget bum!)

the one with the mist (I have upped all the lighting before to make out the shape clearer, it is just a big mass of mist with no clear patterns that I can see personally)
the one after (can see a tiny bit of the mist at the near left)

all of those were mere seconds apart (he really was being that much of a fidget lol) and all are well indoors (I dunno if you guys know what my yard is like, but it's all internal and Joey's is not the closest to the door)
I found it odd!

haha I thiiiiiink it's working now
it's odd, I uploaded them all at the same time to the same browser - so I'm not sure why THAT one didn't work, the codes were all correct too cause I check them on preview first!
a few other pics don't seem to be working for me either, though they're separate to those, straaaange and annoying lol

| Joey is certainly looking right at the 'mist' in that picture! I am a firm believer in life after death, my OH used to sit in circle and was quite a good medium and gave readings (he has not really done much in the last couple of years). I didnt really believe or disbelieve when i met him but after a week of us being together he passed on a message from my great grandmother and was able to describe the lamp shades in her lounge, my money box as a kid, plants in her greenhouse etc. He hadnt even met any of my family let alone been in any of their houses so how could i not believe Since then she has passed on numerous messages for other family memebers through him and the things she tells him on she could know! Had very weird things happening in our houses, light switches being flicked on and off (my grandma had a thing about lights being left on when no-one was in the room), things moving or being returned after going missing etc. Im used to it all now but it really freaked me out at first.

that's amazing KER. I'm really tempted to see a medium at some point, but right now at 18 I don't think I want too lol
it's things like that, that have no other clear explanation that make me convinced there is something else (though I'm sure there is anyway cause there's no way this could just be 'it' so to speak imo)
yeah I know, he looks really freaked too! but maybe it was the affection I was giving him that he hated oh and just to add, we didn't see any mist in person, only when I looked at the pic when I got home
