Any information on Tess please :)

I am looking for any information on my mare Tess, I brought her a year ago, (05/09/2010) from a woman called Joanne Dodd, after finding her advertise on this site! She was kept on a yard near Muckly Corner inbetween Lichfield and Walsall, she was owned by Mrs.Dodd for 6 years, whom supposedly brought her off the meat man, who had aquired Tess (with foal at foot) from a woman whos husband had passed away. This man owned Tess for 5 years before hand, where she had bred one foal, and was left in a field with foal at foot until she was sold. Before then she was (supposedly) supposed to start training to race, but never met requirements. Below I have most of her details and pictures of her when I brought her, and of her now. (She was not broken before I brought her). This is the story I have collected from both Mrs.Dodd and a farrier who worked with Tess before hand.
I know one of Tesses older fillies is now competing in BD competitions.

Her Registered name is just 'Tess'
She is Bright Bay
Her Registered birth year is 1997 (or 1994.. there is both in pp)
She is registered at 16.1hh but due to recent measurements she is actually 15.2hh
Tess is Registered under the Scottish Sports Horse Society
Tess has No Socks, or stockings, although she does have a splash on her Right Hind leg.
She has several horizontal scars on her left hind leg.
Her facial markings are quite peculiar, almost a broken stripe, it is down in the passport as a White Star, but it does break and trail off towards her muzzle. She has a Whorl in the center of her head, in the right side of the Star, she has a Whorl on the left side of her neck, and a whorl on each flank.
She has Striped Horn Hooves.
She is the most mothering horse ever, so docile, and lovely, although can be typically stroppy, and can be very high spirited at times. She won't stable very well as she box walks, and (until recently) she did windsuck, and she has a tendancy to kick if she is irritated.

I know It's not an awful lot to go off! But If anybody can give me any information on her, it would be amazing! Thanks so much!

LOOKING FOR ELLA - 15.2HH GREY MARE

I hope someone can help me!!! I’m looking for a horse i bred about 8 years ago. She is called Ella and is a Lipizzaner. I sold her to a lady called Holly in Moreton In Marsh who sold her in December 2009 to a lady called Phyllis near Bath. Phyllis had an 11 year daughter and a couple of stallions, her aim to put Ella in foal I believe. A few people have mentioned the name Dilys Van Tromp, I have contacted her and she said she owned Ella and sold her a few months ago to a lady in Leicestershire. I then spoke to Holly again who said the lady was definitely called Phyllis!!! So not quite sure what to believe now! I have spoken to Farmkey & Ella’s breed society and unfortunately after 3.5 years I am still registered as the owner at both!!

I owned Ella from birth and I would just like to see how she is doing and stay in touch (hopefully) with her. She was micro chipped and had a micro mark on her near shoulder (FARMKEY REF NUMBER 985120008881168), this may not be very visible as she will be very white now, she also had a scar on her near hind coronet band, and a patch of white skin on her nose. Her passport number is 826035030220256. ANY information would be great, if you know the owner and she doesn't want me to get in touch as long as i know Ella is okay i would be happy with that, but obviously would love to stay in touch with her. HISTORY WANTED ON DEVON - 16.2 BAY MARE

Hi, as well as my previous post searching for Ella my old horse - i'm looking for some history on a beautiful mare that i help look after. Her name is Devon and she is approximately 25 years old. She was bought from a dealer in Plymouth about 15 years ago. She is branded on her neck and hindquarters indicating she is a pure Bavarian Warmblood but the numbers under her brand are ...difficult to distinguish (i'm going to try and clip the area and see if that helps). She is 16.2hh and Bay, she has been really well schooled in the past and is a darling to ride. She doesnt like to be at the back when going faster than a walk though and back in the day when jumping she would rather gallop at them than be collected! I have contacted the Bavarian Society who think because of her age she could of come from Germany, as she is branded on her neck she is an eligble mare for breeding so she may of had a foal in the past??? ANY information would be fantastic :-)

We bought her from Renton-Dumbarton in 2007 and would like to know her history.

She's a 12.2hh grey mare. Born in 1999.

She was in Dumbarton for a year and from "a riding school" before that but thats all we know.

She's a fantastic character and would just love to know her history.:)

Lady 16hh BAY TB Mare Freezemarked EOOF small speck of white on forehead, white band on back left leg and a few white hairs on withers.

Sold roughly 3 years ago to Alan who kept her for a short while at CARRINGTON RIDING CENTRE, URMSTON, MANCHESTER before selling her on to a dealer Trevor also in the MANCHESTER area, he did sell her on but i have since lost touch with her. She is about 19/20 yrs old now. Would love to know where she is i just cant relax until i find her please any news good or bad...

Im trying to trace my much loved pony who I had no choice to sell in April 2007.

I got him as a problem pony due to what he has been through in the past and put a lot of hard work into him. When in regular work he worked in a good outline and had really nice paces. He was a strong, bold pony and a brilliant jumper. He would rear occasionally but didnt do this all the time.

He could be grumpy but the worst he ever did was pull faces. The only thing I could fault him on was when being brought in from the field he would bolt off when being led or if he couldnt do that he would rear, although he may not do this now? He was just a typical Welsh at times!

He was a 14.2hh, Welch sec C and was 14 years old when I sold him. The man who brought him commented that he was a 'big C' so may of sold him on as a D. The man also turned out to be a dealer so he would of deffantly been sold on to someone else. I still had his passport when he was sold so he will either have one first dated from 2007 or even one that isnt his.

I loved this pony so much and he really was my 'horse of a life time'. I would just like to find out what happened to him, good or bad, so if you own him or know him please get in contact with me!

Ireland 4 day old foal missing

IRELAND - just to make you aware we had a tiny 4 day old smokey black filly foal stolen from the field either late last night early this morning from the Carrick on Shannon area. She was running around happily with her dam at 9pm last night when we last saw her but there is no sign of her this morning and her dam is terribly distressed.Mini shetland foal.

im currently searching for my old pony Toffee, 14.2hh black mare no white markings, freeze mark on her back 'O8T'. believed to be welsh section D x Arab it is believed she went to a dealer in what i believe is wales and iv not heard anything about her since feb 2010 and i would really like to know how shes doing and if shes okay she will be about 8/9 now i got her as a very green 6 year old who went on to do show jumping + dressage, Toffee is a windsucker and had 'warts' on her nose!

Do any of you recognise this horse? His name is Hotspurs Lunar eclipse by the traditional stallion Seamus, he was sold by a family in Yorkshire at the end of 2008 as far as I know, will be 9yrs old this year. Does anyone know of his whereabouts? Thanks.

I sold him as a tbx however i think he was then sold on as a ISHx. He must be around 8 years old now. I sold him to a person called Nicola who kept him at a place in lavenham. She then sold him onto someone called jenny? i think and kept him at a yard near colchester. I have recently heard he has affiliated in dressage. it was around 2007.

i was forced to sell her due to moving but have never heard how she got on since/how she is.

still think bout her all the time:crying: - she was the best ever!!

14.2 palomino mare

I know i have tried before a couple of years ago, but thought i would give it another shot as lots of different people here now:)

Does anybody recognize this palomino mare. She was 14.2 and so pretty, she had a lovely thick mane which went down both sides, no white socks. Last known in Widnes Cheshire. She has probably passed away now as she would be in her late 20's. She was called Della, but this could have changed over time. I would love any information good or bad as she is always in my thoughts.

We bought "shirley" in January last year from a dealer in Sussex. She's 16.1/2 and is a sports horse breed. We believe she may have competed BSJA to Discovery Level and if it is here was a Grade B jumper. She's about 15 and came with a foreign passport so she might not even have been called Shirley.
She has a very distinctive star shaped snip on her muzzle and she has lots of little ermine marks aroud her white sock on her near hind.
She has a real love of custard creams (in fact... most human biscuits) and is a very mareish mare. She may have had stomach problems. We believe she has been used as a broodmare at some point too.

If anyone has any info on her what-so-ever i'd love to hear about it.

looking for WOOTTONHEATHS

Hiya all
Would like some info on anybody that has got any horses from Wootonheath bloodlines.
Saddly a friend of mine had a colt from them at a different yard than us who was saddly put to sleep saturday from an liver problem.
Ive also got a horse nf/tb that appears healthy but has slight ribs that are showing,
With recomended advice from the vets i decided to have my horse tested and unfortunatly it has come back that he too has liver dammage and hes only 1.
Luckly there is a chance with lots of veterany treatment that it can repair itself.50/50 chance
we are having a bioptsy done to find out the severity of his liver.

symptons we have with star at the moment

slow to put weight on but condition realy good
running a tempreture at a 100 but all over the place but not any higher
looks abit like they have abit of a worm belly
only one ball or one abit smaller than the other

WE HAVE ALSO TRACKED ANOTHER WOOTTONHEATH THAT HAS POSSIBLY GOT THE SAME

I'm trying to trace my old Pony Chester (show name white spur sparkler) He's a gorgeous Welsh D Palamino Gelding, he'd be 23ish now. I owned him for 7 years untill 1999, I only sold him because of college commitments and he's very much missed. A friend sold her horse Conker on his passport in beeston approx 2 and a half years ago due to loss of her job.
He is approx 13hh and around the 10 years old mark.
He is a section B type. chestnut.

I know it is a long shot, but just wondered if anyone knew him, He was imported bymy friend (I think as a 3 year old), she had him for quite a while, my hubby (non-rider) rode him a few times and we would just like to know how he is if anyone knows of him. He is around 15'3hh, bay and white coloured, 5/6 ears old and sold from Malvern Sales last year we think to a lady who was going to turn him for a whie and then start off riding him. He is very laid back, any info much appreciated x

I have posted a topic in the Gallery section about one of my first ponies. (I didnt realise there was a tracing section) there is more info there...
He is 11.2hh and grey with a white splodge on his back/loins under where his saddle goes. He would be 16 now, I had him as a 5/6year old and have been seeking info on him ever since. Please read my post in the gallery for more info.
He was sold to a family in the West Midlands, around Cannock I think althought he could be anywhere now :-(

Hi i am after some info good or bad about my old horse jack an 18hh bay gelding tbxid my last known wearabouts of him was that he was in maltby yorkshire he had 2 bad scars on his near hind leg and a lump on his fetlock on the opposite one. stunning horses and missed loads would love to know how he is getting on.
