Being attacked with knives?!?!?! WTF!!! My horse's field is right on a road. :(

Geez. I'd string 'em up by their ******** and lop 'em off, if anyone so much as touched my horse. :crazy:

im not sure to be honest i think it's SEIB. It's more my stepmums domain and I haven't really spokento her about it yet, our work schedules overlap too much but I think there's a clause in te policy that specifies the type of lock you have to have and ours arent the same? And apparently our cupboards that we keep the tack in can't have those locks? I know that didn't make much sense but it did in my head ;) I'll explain more when Ive spoken to her or my daddy :)

I did not know anything about it ? but was told and that there was a sign up in Lillico's warning people , Yet i was down there a week ago and did not see it ,but then i was in and out of the place ?

My tack room & barn is alarmed , also the horses stables:thumbs:

Oh i'd heard nothing about that? Thats horrible! I'll keep an eye out, I'm scared now that people know they can get on to our yard :(

If they did, no-one's told us and Aylesford is obviously on my door step! :(

Our tack is under lock & key, padlock and alarm so I'm doing everything i reasonably can to keep it safe! Mind you, insurance companies will always try to wiggle out of it.

Just a thought.... if you 'normally' keep the tack indoors, your household contents insurance might cover it... worth a try! ;)

I was also told over the weekend that in Aylesford Kent, horses were being attacked by knifes ?I think there was a notice in Lilicos about it?

There's a website where you can list all your stolen items. It's worth doing because it's getting better known now and people can check there if they're offered anything they can't be sure of it's origin.

not sure if this is in the right place? but feel free to move it :)

anyway, anyone in the medway/kent area please please be careful!

my yard was broken into last night and all of our tack has been stolen including martingales and saddle cloths and things like that! :angry:
we're insured but they won't pay out because we had the wrong type of padlocks or something, not really sure.

luckily the horses are all ok, but we can't afford new tack until my stepmum gets her bonus so no more riding for us this summer! :(
