Lost, Stolen, Equine Crime

Hi, My name is Debbie, I am new to this site but already I feel at home. I saw this string on horses lost and stolen and it makes me feel physically ill that anyone could do this. I just wanted to offer my services to spread the word, which I would be more than happy to do on my website at Good Apple Equine UK Ltd, which is www.gaukequestrian.com and also to let you know that I also work for Thames Valley Police, covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. I can spread the word within the Police Force as well if required. Also, as we sell second hand tack, second hand saddles and equestrian clearance, if I come up against anybody wanting to sell goods which I feel are suspicious and match any descriptions you give me to look out for, then of course I will let you guys know. :thumbs:

16.3hh chestnut gelding, Irish draught x arab (looks almost full ID tho). Has lots of sarcoids as well as some scars from previous ones. Has what looks like a skin rub under his chin which is actually a sarcoid and has huge lumps on his chest.

Last known around Nuneaton area. Loaner now ignoring all contact but I do know that he has been moved from the yard I was told he was at. Passport has also been changed into loaners name without my consent.

Police informed as well as the PIO.

Spirit (ESPIRITU VOLADOR)was 'stolen' from his field in Carrington on 9th May sometime after 2130 on the night of the 8th. He is a 15.2hh grey Andalusian type gelding. 7 years old. He is microchipped. He has a small snip between his nostrils, a longish mane and a very distinctive scar on his inside right hind leg, incident ref 2078 microchip no.941000001549969 Any info please contact lisa on 07712156726

Hello, i am looking for my old horse called Buzz, want to see how he is doing!!. He is 15hh bright bay gelding. Has a star shaped like a number 5, and 3 small socks. I sold him as a tbx however i think he was then sold on as a ISHx. He must be around 8 years old now. I sold him to a person called Nicola who kept him at a place in lavenham. She then sold him onto someone called jenny? i think. I have recently heard he has affiliated in dressage. Yard break in at Warrington

One of my friends had their yard broken into a couple of nights ago. I believe there were over 40 saddles taken and it was a professional job :(

NOW NAMED SID. APPROX 16HH, CHESTNUT GELDING, FREEZEMARK ON LEFT SHOULDER, SMALL STAR AND SNIP, SMALL DENT ON RIGHT SIDE OF FOREHEAD

I've just found he was issued with a pet id passport in 2007 in which he's registered as a 168cm warmblood.

Oscar was sold whilst out on loan in 2007. He has a very serious health condition and needs to be on long term medication. Im sure his owners don't know this.

I am desperate to find him. I had no luck up until now when I found him on pet-id but am now having trouble getting hold of the owners details.

Any information please.

my yard was broken into last night and all of our tack has been stolen including martingales and saddle cloths and things like that! :angry:
we're insured but they won't pay out because we had the wrong type of padlocks or something, not really sure.

luckily the horses are all ok, but we can't afford new tack until my stepmum gets her bonus so no more riding for us this summer! :(

i'm posting this on behalf of someone i know in the hope that someone will recognise the description of this horse, don't have photos though but hopefully she will be distinct enough. it's a bit complicated though so can't say too much at this moment in time but i'll copy and paste what she put on her FB status and any other details i have.

To all people who own a horse i need your help ,im looking for a horse that was on my yard around a year ago her name is lady lara, she is a colour bay and white good looking mare she had unusal eyes , pure white tail would stand out in a crowd she was put on lone for a year as owner was having a baby the loner sold h...er PLEASE PLEASE HELP need to know if she is ok THANKYOU

15.2 medim build about 10years very foward going lovely jump hunted ect soft mouth remember that she use to make funny faces when you put her bridle on.

i dont know whats happened ....but i seem to be missing my brain today !! maybe it was stolen ? or maybe i did have it to start with ?

i have done a number of stupid things today

1. i filled the kettle up , flicked the switch, put the tea bag and sugar in the cup ...then loaded the washing machine ...went back to the the kettle and pour it into the cup only to discover ..the water is stone cold ...i hadnt plugged it in at the wall ;)

2. a little while later ...i put the newspaper in the fridge :laugh: i found the newspaper when i got back from max :hehe:

3. then spent 20 mins looking for the car keys .....which turned out to be in my pocket !! :crazy:

Also. A horse in Birling, Kent has been drugged and moved to a neighbouring field to allow burglary and horses in Platt, Kent have had manes plaited and field gates marked with red.

Thankfully they didn't steal the rugs of their backs however the girls are out in rainmacks today cos their light weights have been stolen. :( Missy now doesn't have a medium weight.

Garrrrr. Go buy your own F*CKING rugs!!! Yet again... we're coming up to a local auction... :roll:

Should you have the misfortune to have your horse or pony stolen, then the sooner you do the right things, the better your chances of having a happy reunion with your horse :)

First stop, of course, is to report the theft to your local Police Station. They'll give you a crime number which you'll need to get closer to finding your horse.

Horsewatch do some fantastic work and locate quite a few horses. They work Nationally and each branch communicates with all the others very efficiently. Your nearest branch can be found here: http://www.ukhorsewatch.org.uk/Map.html

The National Equine Database is becoming a valuable resource for locating stolen horses and you should contact them next http://www.nedonline.co.uk/public/Home.aspx

If you give NEDs your crime number, they will feature your horses' details on their website. They hold all the information for every horse passport in England, and should an application be made at some point in the future for a new passport for a horse matching yours, they'll be the first to know.
