My little baby!

Talk about all growed up! She's jumping fences that frighten the pants off of me & at speeds that would scare anyone!

This was taken last Sunday at her first hunter trial on Smurf

And then yesterday - she did U12s as a single which went well until she caught up with the next rider. As they approached a fence the pony in front stopped which caused Smurf to stop too. It was obvious to me that it was going to happen, but these are the sort of things that Kobee needs to learn. She then did the pony course as a pair & they went clear right up to the last jump, but Smurf had passed her partner as she's much faster & she didn't like the jump so they both stopped!

Apart from that it's going really well & the same course was used by the horses (huge!).

International Eventing next weekend

im nervious as had a knock of confidents after the fall but will try and enjoy myself
we are going to a brand new place so have no idea what it willl be like
but mom sad she would video for me :)

Not really Eventing, but I took my horse to Charity Farm for a school round the CC course and a look round the farm ride. I wish I had some pics, Luke was great :) Throughout his life he's had to do little without other horses, and though we also took Katie's young horse who was the one who needed the jump round, Luke was going into fences and jumping them rather than following another horse which is what i've allowed him to do out hunting.

We've been working hard on little schooling sessions at home since he jumped into so sheep wire, and he seems to be over that now and actually thinking for himself. He also enjoyed it too. I only jumped the small options on the easy fences because with him going so well, I didn't want to spoil things and ask for a little too much.

im thinking about doing riding club eventing when i turn 17 in august but im not sure how high you have to jump and i know most of you are from uk but even just a guess will help

Indoor Eventing?

I went to an indoor today and there was a poster about an indoor eventing competition.

Drat, drat drat, I didn't have my specs so it was all a blur - and I couldn't bring myself to ask someone to read it out to me. SO - has anyone been involved in "indoor eventing" and how does it work?
