Description Well grown May 2008 AES Registered Bay Colt. Dam is a striking 15.2hh coloured Welsh D X and sire is the young 16.2hh AES licensed Holstein stallion El Thuder (Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve (Argentinus) x Larome (Landgraf I) x Goldspring de Lauzelle). El Thuder was the only 3yr old stallion to grade licensed at his AES Approval in Spring 2007 and has since been going from strength to strength, winning loose jumping competitions last winter as a 3 yr old and successfully competing this year at BSJA competitions, including jumping in the Addington and Quainton Young Horse Championships, placing 2nd in the 4 yr old Championship Qualifier in what was one of his first outings under saddle. Max was bred with showing in mind….more specifically aiming him to excel as a working hunter. He has however begun to develop into an excellent M/W prospect as well as having a super future as a top level Junior Show Jumper’s horse as he has the most amazing paces, with a huge off the floor trot and excellent bouncy canter and super jump (jumps whatever he can come across in the field), coupled with the agility and dexterity of the Welsh. He is beautifully put together, with clean straight limbs and has a superb cheeky temperament. He is halter broken and accustomed to having his feet handled by us and the farrier and is a saint to worm and/or do anything with him in general. Eligible for the BEF futurity scheme and should do very well if presented as a yearling in 2009 (lack of time prevented him being presented in 2008).
