Very sad sale of Connell – Beautiful dark bay, almost black, 14.2 gelding. He's the most wonderful character and lovely natured horse. Connell has always been 100% bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, does not spook at farm machinery or heavy lorries. He is not a novice ride, needs a confident rider as he is a typical Sec. D and can be strong–willed – although he has been ridden on and off the lead rein by my 10 year old daughter. Good to stand for grooming, changing rugs, tacking up, with farrier, and to catch also good to load. No vices, front shod only. He will stand for hours to be groomed and fussed around by my children, even stands loose in his stable. Has hunted last year and loved it, and can jump – he's always willing to give anything a go. I am only selling him as I have an ongoing back injury and I am unable to give him the work he needs which means he is getting bored. He's far too young to be retired or a pet!!
