11.2hh Registered Welsh Sec A grey gelding rising 5 years Shadow is a top class true to type Mountain & Moorland with impeccable breeding, confirmation and clean limbs. He was professionally broken at the beginning of 2007 and is without doubt a star of the future. We have had a lovely winter with him where he has taught my 4 year old daughter to ride on the lead rein. Shadow now has come into his own and proving to have that “look at me attitude” and we have to concede he is a little bit sharp for a tiny 4 year old who is very much a passenger. This is a real shame as he oozes quality and has a lot to give. He is superb with a competent jockey on board. He is responsive to voice commands and will work through all 3 gaits on the lunge perfectly. He is however, still very green and therefore suited to an experienced, knowledgeable home only who can show him the world and take him to the top! I cannot stress how nice and honest this pony is but he is still a baby and unfortunately we need a babysitter. He has the kindest of temperaments and is 110% in the stable. He is good to catch, clip, bath, load, travel and with the farrier he will live in or out. He is never sick or sorry no lami or sweet itch, he needs a 10* home where he is going to be loved, appreciated and taken to the next level. Please no timewasters as this is a heartbreaking decision.
