Barney is a very friendly, handsome, Irish Sports Horse gelding. He would suit a confident teenager or adult who is not looking to compete as he has never been shown before. He has an Irish passport and is registered with the Irish Horse Board. He has a laid back attitude so does not bolt off but can get excited on hacks, which means he is not a novice ride. He loves to jump and will jump 3ft with ease and sometimes higher. Hacks out in company but is still nervous on his own. He is good to catch, load and is well behaved with the farrier. He lives out as this is what he prefers and is not currently shod. He has had the same owner for 4 years and is ridden by a 15 year old girl.
