1990 (G) Leyland Road Runner 10 13 Horsebox. 7.5 tonne, non-HGV. 8ft of headroom in back. Takes 3 large horses with ease. Good runner, easy to drive. Tax end Sept 08, MOT August 08. Flew through last MOT, but will probably need some welding on the cab this year. Mileage: will check, forgot to look this am! Drove to Badminton this year fine. Often does trips to shows approx 2hrs away, manages no problem. Good on fuel. Recently been fitted with new Air tank and battery. Solid floor and ramp. Rubber matting in lorry and also rubber to half way up the walls. Ramp is in excellent condition and is well sprung. I can easily do the ramp myself and my friends 14 year old daughter manages too (all be it just!). The front bumper and wheel arch was replaced last year. Cab interior tidy, has Cassette radio. Heating etc. Living has sink, cooker, space for fridge, cupboards. Fold out double bed with storage underneath. Coat/bridle hooks, 3 saddle racks. There is lighting in the living and also lighting in the horse area inc a spotlight, these lights run off a leisure battery in the living. Carpeted walls and laminate flooring. Bad points: Cab needs some welding Partitions need some repair: the head dividers need attention as they don't fix properly, tape does the job fine at present, and one of the wooden panels has popped out in the corner, just needs the brackets replacing. Ramp needs new matting as the current matting has split in places. Included in the sale are two fieldguard ramp mats for fixing this. Ramp itself is very solid. Handbrake needs new lever. Exhaust blowing. One tie ring needs replacing, have one for this. Cosmetically: could be resprayed. Only being sold due to upgrade to larger box. Feel free to contact me to come and view.
