Due to lack of time and funds, I am looking for an experienced rider & carer to take on a full loan (to a very good home only), preferably to Southern Counties only (Surrey, Sussex, Hants) He is quite strong, but requires riding every day to rebuild muscle and topline condition, as he has been out of work for a couple of months. Can be strong when handling, but is a gentleman once he knows whose boss! Has a stunning jump and paces and needs preparing for next season to event again. He is available to event but only as of next season, he has recently (4th August 2008) been treated with Steroid injections into his hocks, to treat Bone Spavin and was also diagnosed with Laminitis (first time ever, due to this lovely weather we’ve been experiencing) in July '08, hence why there was a delay in the steroid injections, as it was too much of a risk whilst he had laminitis. We were competing Open 3'9" until the end of June, until he fell lame and was doing extremely well.
